Why this island

Europe's last unspoiled island

La Graciosa is a 29 km² island separated from northern Lanzarote by a narrow channel. No paved roads. No cars. A population of around 700, living as they have for generations. Officially designated a Canary Island in 2018, it remains largely unknown to most visitors.

The beaches — Playa de las Conchas, Playa Francesa, Playa del Salado — are among the most beautiful in the Atlantic. The water is warm, clear, and remarkably quiet.

Most visitors who do make it to La Graciosa take the public ferry from Órzola: 80 strangers on a schedule, no flexibility, no guide. Our private version is the opposite of that.

Questions about La Graciosa

What exactly is La Graciosa?
La Graciosa is a small island north of Lanzarote, separated by a narrow channel called El Río. It became Spain's eighth Canary Island officially in 2018. There are no paved roads, no cars, and a population of around 700 people. The beaches are considered some of the most pristine in Europe.
Is this a shared trip or private?
Always private. Your crossing, your guide, your day. We do not combine groups. Every booking is exclusive to your party, which means you move at your own pace and the guide adapts to what you want.
How do we get from our hotel or villa to the port?
We coordinate private transfer from your accommodation to Órzola (in the north of Lanzarote). Just let us know where you're staying when you send your request and we'll arrange everything.
Is La Graciosa suitable for children?
Yes — it's one of the best destinations for families. The island is traffic-free, the beaches are calm, and the pace is gentle. We've taken families with children from age 4 upwards. Let us know the ages of any children and we'll advise accordingly.
What is the sea crossing like?
The crossing takes around 25 minutes by private boat. The channel can be choppy in winter or on windy days. We always check sea conditions before confirming, and will reschedule or refund fully if it's unsafe. In summer and good weather, the crossing is calm and often the highlight of the day.
Can we swim and snorkel?
Absolutely. Snorkelling equipment is included and the water around La Graciosa — particularly at Playa de las Conchas and Playa Francesa — is exceptional. Crystal clear, warm, and with rich marine life.
Are there restaurants on La Graciosa?
Yes — a handful of simple local restaurants in the village of Caleta de Sebo. We recommend trying fresh fish on the island. Lunch is not included by default but can be pre-arranged. There are no ATMs, so bring cash for any purchases.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. If sea conditions make the crossing unsafe on your day, we offer a full refund or the option to reschedule. Safety always comes first.
